2. Expand your network through events and programs: • 2019 WBCA Convention, Tampa, Florida. The perfect mixture of education, networking opportunities and fun! Held in conjunction with the NCAA® Women's Final Four®, it is where you can connect with colleagues at every level of the sport, celebrate the end of the season, and start preparing for the one ahead. • WBCA Coaches’ Classroom. These half-day coaching clinics are held around the country during the summer. • Through our Coach to Coach Mentoring Program, small groups of coaches communicate via monthly conference calls, emails and texts to support one another, share their challenges and their successes and make our coaching community stronger.
3. Grow professionally: • Gather your staff around the computer and participate in our monthly webinars. • Learn from top leaders in our sport by attending an open practice in your area (coming Fall 2018).
4. Recognize leadership: Nominate and vote on awards honoring both coaches and players for their achievements during the season at the high school level. You may also nominate deserving individuals for contributor awards regardless of level, such as the Carol Eckman Integrity in Coaching Award and the Jostens-Berenson Lifetime Achievement Award.
5. Fill a vacancy: • Access the WBCA Career Center when searching for a new job or looking for the perfect hire to fill a vacancy on your staff. • Open Dates: Our online portal is a perfect way for members to find opponents for open dates in their schedule.
