Kevin Cheek

Kevin Cheek hit the ground running in 1999 going 24-6 and winning the District Championship in his first year. Since then, he has amassed an amazing record of 504-112 in just 20 years at Skyline High School. He has won four State Championships in 2003, 2004, 2008, and 2017; placed runner-up in 2009, 2014, and 2015. His teams have also won 3rd place three times for a total of ten Final Four appearances. Cheek been named MBCA Coach of the Year six times, and the National Federation of High School Coaches Coach of the Year in 2017. His teams have posted eighteen 20+ win seasons and 16 District Championships. He has coached 14 collegiate athletes and 21 MBCA All-State players. A 1995 graduate of Buffalo High School and graduated from Southwest Baptist University in 1999. He is married to Kelli (Bybee) and they have three children, Kourt, Kenzi, and Khazz.
